The Government of New Brunswick recognizes that some New Brunswick businesses may require personal protective equipment (PPE) for their employees in order to operate while still respecting public health measures. To assist businesses that may not have a current supplier or may not be familiar with the market, the Government of New Brunswick has created a list of some potential sources of supply of PPE which can be used as reference. $252M "intial" emergency aid package coming for farmers, food processors hit by COVID-19

The Liberal government unveiled a multimillion-dollar aid package this morning aimed at helping farmers and food processors safely navigate the novel coronavirus pandemic — aid that comes in response to concerns about food security in Canada and the health of vulnerable food sector workers.
But the funding envelope — an "initial amount," according to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau — falls far short of the $2.6 billion emergency fund requested by the Canadian Federation of Agriculture.
Trudeau announced a new $77 million fund for food processors of various sizes, including meat packers, to help these businesses retrofit their factories and increase their capacity to deal with a backlog of livestock building up in parts of the county. Read more here
$62 .5 million in Assistance to Fish & Seafood Processing sector
On Saturday, April 25 the Honourable Bernadette Jordan, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans, and the Canadian Coast Guard, announced $62.5 million of new assistance to the fish and seafood processing sector. This new Canadian Seafood Stabilization Fund will help businesses:
